Role Description

Safe-Connect is part of Cats&Dogs Managed Business Solutions and provides secure IT infrastructure for national and international enterprises. With a persistent “cloud first” strategy, we succeed in providing optimal support to customers with offices in Belgium and abroad. For our company at the Corda Campus in Hasselt, we are looking for an Azure security expert. Your job is to provide additional security for our customers by performing security audits and actively managing all aspects of security within the Azure/365 environment. You will also be responsible for the development of our Security Operation Center.

Job Description

You will join a collaborative team of 4 colleagues with specializations in managed IT, IT architecture, MS Azure, AVD and Fortinet Firewalls. Your tasks will consist of;
  • Establishing a security roadmap including policies and awareness
  • Investigate and identify cyber risks
  • Formulating recommendations and ensuring that they are followed
  • Implementing security features
  • Proactive monitoring and reporting
  • Providing training to your colleagues and clients
  • Starting up a Security Operations Center

Profile and requirements

  • Master Information Technology
  • Several years of experience within an IT Security function with Azure
  • A proper knowledge of security technologies has already been acquired
  • You see improvements and are able to implement them proactively
  • A critical eye makes you look forward
  • As a team player, you communicate fluently with your colleagues and customers
  • You are well spoken in Dutch and fluent in English
