Support is about more than just solving problems. It’s about guiding customers and helping them move forward in their IT environment. You will also manage licenses, respond to ad hoc requests, and navigate Azure technology and endpoints. This way, you ensure that IT systems run smoothly and that customers can always rely on you.

Your challenge as a Support Engineer

After smooth yet professional onboarding, you will be fully prepared for your new challenge within a few months. As an expert, you will remotely support a diverse customer base. Your responsibilities include:
  • Helping customers navigate their IT environment with your expertise.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT-related problems, questions, and requests via phone, email, or chat.
  • Mapping out issues clearly with the customer and providing the right solution.
  • Managing updates, patches, and licenses across various platforms.
  • Handling sensitive customer information with the highest level of security.
  • Responding to ad hoc IT requests and quickly adapting when needed.

Your Skills

As a Support Engineer, you are a versatile IT professional. With your broad knowledge, you accurately identify problems and provide the right solutions. You also have:
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in remote desktop and helpdesk software such as Zendesk.
  • Knowledge of thin clients, hardware, and Office applications.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive attitude.
  • Strong assertiveness and persuasion skills.
  • Empathy combined with technical knowledge.
  • A calm and structured personality.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
