NIS2 in Belgium and Europe

In Belgium, the Centre for Cybersecurity has taken the lead, being the first European country to be ready with its CyFun Framework. We adopt this framework and complete it according to your organisation’s specific needs.
There are 3 levels in CCB’s framework:
  • Basic
  • Important
  • Essential
Organisations that are covered by ‘Important’ or ‘Essential’ will create the waterfall effect. This means that they prefer to cooperate with other organisations that meet at least the ‘Basic level’. This gives them assurance of safe collaboration.

Why NIS2 Basic?

With NIS2 Basic, you take a decisive step towards professionalism and trust. It is the ideal way to get your cybersecurity in order and distinguish yourself as a trusted partner. This level puts the focus on practical and feasible measures without sky-high costs.

The benefits for you at a glance:
  • 1. Strengthen trust in your organisation: With a NIS2 Basic certificate, you show customers and partners that you take security seriously. A strong reputation opens doors for new partnerships.

  • 2. Boost your business continuity: Any organisation that achieves the certificate has taken the necessary measures to ensure its continuity.

  • 3. Minimise the risk for unexpected costs: By identifying cybersecurity and compliance, you will be well prepared for digital challenges and avoid legal headaches.

Expect a complete solution that works and is affordable. No sky-high costs, but a practical approach that makes your organisation completely NIS2 Basic-proof. Ready? Then you can obtain the CyFun® Basic certification label via an official body.

Current risk to residual risk

This is how we work for you in 5 stages

Stage 1: Kick-off meeting

We start with a kick-off meeting in which we gather the necessary information. This gives us a chance to get to know the current
security measures.

Phase 2: Documenting the starting point

We then implement the CCB Cyber Fundamentals Framework. For each requirement, we fill in the available information. The intention is to capture the starting point.

Phase 3: Action plan

The dashboard is visible and the action plan is created. This gives a clear overview of the current status and shows which items are still on the agenda to become
fully compliant.

Phase 4: Implementing security

Are security requirements not in place? Then we propose appropriate solutions. The technical team can step in to ensure that you will soon be
well protected.

Phase 5: Ready for NIS2 Basic certification

We check everything carefully and create a report. A NIS2 authorised organisation can efficiently carry out a compliance test and apply for the NIS2 Basic label from the CCB.
